We had a wonderful time on this ride.  The scenery was beautiful and we got to see parts of the battlefield that we couldn't in the car. They were very good with the communication and information for what to expect. They were all very friendly and caring towards us and their horses. We had a great experience and will definitely recommend this ride to anyone that is considering a nice slow four hour ride through this beautiful county side. It was also nice being in our own private small group. They took lots of pictures and sent to us. Very relaxing and extremely enjoyable!!! The horses were beautiful and well mannered. Holy horseback ride for my birthday. These guys are sooooo friendly and michael is very knowledgeable. The horses are very cool and laidback. Highly recommend this tour for a different perspective of the battlefield as well as a great way to spend an afternoon with only four horses and four people (2 guides). Will definitely do another ride (possibly an evening ride). ps: take bug spray

The experience was simple, dignified and enjoyable. The guides gave clear instructions and did not micromanage every movement. They encouraged interaction and answered questions thoroughly without promoting personal viewpoints. They provided safe, accurate directions and helped us with anything we needed from a practical standpoint. They personally answered the telephone with any questions we had leading up to the ride. Their enthusiasm for their job, horses and clients is to be commended. My wife and I have no reservations in recommending them to others. It was our best vacation experience in more than two years.

We booked the 3 hour Friday evening ride! The views were spectacular, the horses were beautiful and great. The owners were amazing... there is a horse path that you stay on so you don't ride next to the monuments or grave site, you see them at a distance. I've never been to Gettysburg on a tour so I didn't know what to expect. But we absolutely loved it, very private and personal would definitely recommend.  

This was a last-minute trip. We wanted to do something different. Best decision. The entire ride was amazing. The guides were awesome. Michael is great. Very knowledgeable of the history. Able to answer all our questions. Being able to see from the certain points on horseback, to look out over the fields, amazing experience. This is a must-do in my book. To see where the men actually were in the tree line. Things you definitely can not experience from your car or a tour bus. Mac said he had chills and goosebumps just imagining. Looking at paintings and pictures afterward I was able to better understand where they were in that time. Have to add Amanda and Ashley were great as well leading the ride and meeting up along the trail to make sure everyone is OK, and make sure horses have water for those concerned about that. Chief likes to sneak a bite to eat along the trail but was great nonetheless. Mac said Bo was great for the adventure.

My husband and I have been on several horseback rides in Gettysburg, but this was by far the most enjoyable. The ride was intimate and it's clear the horses are well loved.  The guides make sure all your needs are met and it really feels like a personal experience. We are looking forward to riding with them again in the future.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed riding horses through the battlefield. The different viewpoint it gives, versus driving a car or bus through it, was truly unique. The guides we had were also wonderful and so were the horses.

We were first-time riders. The guide team was amazing at helping us learn how to control the horses and we were riding in just a few minutes! Tour guides were very knowledgeable of both the history and the horses. They also got a ton of fantastic pictures for us. I highly recommend!

This was by far the best thing we did in Gettysburg. Mike and his team were outstanding and the horses were amazing. This is the best way to see and understand the battlefield as one of the soldiers and commanders would have. We did the 4 hour ride but it went by so fast.
