Yes! For the safety and comfort of all of our guests, children must be at least 10 years of age to ride. We ride one person per horse/saddle; there is no doubling up.
Horses are like people; they come in different shapes and sizes. Because we are riding on the horse's back, we are mindful of their comfort and always put safety first. Our weight limit is 220 pounds. Thank you for respecting and understanding this guideline.
You may cancel UP TO 48 hours before your ride launches for a full refund. Anything canceled with LESS THAN 48 hours' notice is non-refundable.
If we need to cancel a ride due to inclimate weather, we will offer you the opportunity to be rescheduled or refunded. We prefer not to ride in the rain, however, summer rain showers often happen. Please dress and be prepared according to the forecast. We will not ride if lightening is present or within 5 miles of us. We monitor radar and always put safety first.
Closed toe shoes are a must! For your safety, no sandals or flip flops will be allowed. While we recommend wearing jeans, you are allowed to wear shorts. Please keep in mind that nylon material (gym shorts / athletic pants) will be slippery in the saddle. Anyone under the age of 18 must wear an equestrian riding helmet - we provide these at no additional cost or you may bring your own. No bicycle or skateboarding helmets, please.
Please bring a water bottle with you - especially on hot, summer days. Each saddle has a horn bag to store your water, keys, and phones. We kindly ask that you not wear backpacks or bring purses. We try not to weigh down our horses! Also, it is recommended that you use bug spray and suntan lotion prior to your ride.
